St. Joseph Regional Green Knights (Montvale, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), 64-52 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph Regional upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Green Knights travel to Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ) to play the Bees in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Bees go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Bayonne won 57-40 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ)

Next up, the Spartans play the Ramapo Raiders (Franklin Lakes, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, January 15. DePaul Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 74-49 non-league loss to Patrick School (Hillside, NJ).
