East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY), 58-51 in a league game.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 13. East Carter will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record.

With the defeat, Morgan County moves to 10-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY) to face the Hornets in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 18. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 5-5.
