With the victory, Vanden upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 20-1. Bishop Montgomery won 56-52 in their recent league bout against St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) in a Monticello Empire League bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Fairfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 55-48 non-league win over Bethel (Vallejo, CA).
