Kilbourne Hawks (Kilbourne, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Forest Bulldogs (Forest, LA), 64-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kilbourne upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA) to play the Crusaders in a C District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 13-8.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Family Community Christian (Winnsboro, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 76-28 non-league loss to General Trass (Lake Providence, LA).
