New Jersey High School Basketball - Freehold Township can't hold off Marlboro

The Marlboro Mustangs basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Freehold Township Patriots to 58 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers Academy for a Shore A - North contest on Tuesday, January 17.

The Patriots (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Holmdel nudged Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ), 62-52, in a non-league contest.
