Gateway Gators (San Francisco, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host The Bay School Breakers (San Francisco, CA), 51-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gateway upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Terra Linda won 72-61 in their recent league bout against Novato (Novato, CA)

Next up, the Breakers play the Drew Dragons (San Francisco, CA) in a Bay Counties - Central bout, on Tuesday, January 17. The Bay School will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 61-36 league loss to San Francisco Waldorf (San Francisco, CA).
