Virginia High School Basketball - Hargrave Military Academy thwarts Virginia Episcopal School

The Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), 85-77 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Oak Hill Academy - Red (Mouth of Wilson, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Oak Hill Academy - Red notched a victory over Comenius (Fort Mill, SC), 89-65, in a league test.

The Bishops now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Fishburne Military for a Virginia Independent test on Tuesday, January 17. Virginia Episcopal School will encounter a Caissons squad coming off a 63-34 league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Caissons record now stands at 3-7.
