The Tilden Blue Devils basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies to 34 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Solorio for a Chicago Public - Blue Central contest on Tuesday, January 17. Tilden will battle a Sun Warriors team coming off a 51-40 league win over Gage Park (Chicago, IL). The Sun Warriors record now stands at 4-4.

The Huskies (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Holy Trinity was defeated by Christ the King (Chicago, IL), 59-25, in a league contest.
