In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Howe Lions basketball team scored a tight 43-41 triumph over the Keys Cougars.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Red Oak Eagles (Red Oak, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27. Howe will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record.
With the defeat, Keys moves to 10-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Vian (Vian, OK) to meet the Wolverines in a Big Eight match on Friday, January 13. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 2-1.
