The Jefferson County Tigers basketball team (Monticello, FL), was nudged 59-56 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Taylor County Bulldogs (Perry, FL)

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trenton for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Taylor County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 58-35 league loss to Williston (Williston, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.

The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Chiles (Tallahassee, FL). The Timberwolves come into the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Chiles was nudged by St. John Paul II (Tallahassee, FL), 64-51, in a non-league battle.
