In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) basketball squad beat the visiting St. Paul Lutheran Saints (Concordia, MO), by a count of 73-60.
The Huskers (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lexington (Lexington, MO). The Minutemen go into the Missouri River Valley - East outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Lexington defeated Holden (Holden, MO), 53-49, in a league outing.
The Saints now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lutheran for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14.
