    The Morris Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Madison Dodgers to 45 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Crusaders now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Morris Catholic will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-59 league loss to Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.

    The Dodgers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ). The Crimson enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Morristown-Beard nudged Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ), 54-53, in a non-league contest.
