The Meek Tigers (Arley, AL) basketball nipped the host Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL), 64-62 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Tigers (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL). The Eagles go into the 1A Area 13 test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Sumiton Christian was tipped by Addison (Addison, AL), 81-49, in a league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Addison for a non-league test on Friday, January 13.
