The Napoleon Pirates (Napoleon, MI) basketball felled the visiting Michigan Center Cardinals (Michigan Center, MI), 55-38 in Thursday's league test.

The Pirates (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Concord (Concord, MI). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Concord thwarted Reading (Reading, MI), 45-44, in a league test.

The Cardinals now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Reading for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Michigan Center will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 45-44 league loss to Concord (Concord, MI). The Rangers record now stands at 8-1.
