Alabama High School Basketball - Montevallo holds off West Blocton

January 12, 2023: West Blocton, AL 35184

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL) and the host West Blocton Tigers (West Blocton, AL), saw Montevallo's basketball squad hold off West Blocton by a tally of 48-42.

With the victory, Montevallo improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 12-8.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Fairview Aggies (Cullman, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. West Blocton will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record.
