Oregon High School Basketball - Summit nips Mountain View

Summit Storm (Bend, OR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR), 57-51 in a league bout.
With the victory, Summit upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Bend (Bend, OR) to play the Lava Bears in a 5A Intermountain bout on Monday, January 16. The Lava Bears come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Bend won 35-23 in their recent league bout against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR)
Next up, the Cougars play the Jesuit Crusaders (Portland, OR) in a 6A Metro bout, on Friday, January 13. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 7-5 record after their 57-27 league win over Sunset (Portland, OR).
