Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Utica Redskins (Utica, OH), 62-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Northridge upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Bishop Ready (Columbus, OH) to clash with the Silver Knights in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 15. The Silver Knights go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Bishop Ready won 64-49 in their recent league bout against Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH)

Next up, the Redskins clash with the Heath Bulldogs (Heath, OH) in a Licking County - Cardinal bout, on Friday, January 20. Utica will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
