Renville County West Jaguars (Renville, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ortonville Trojans (Ortonville, MN), 63-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Renville County West upgrades its record to 1-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Canby (Canby, MN) to play the Lancers in a A Section 3 bout on Friday, January 13. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Canby lost 65-50 in their recent league bout against MACCRAY (Clara City, MN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Benson (Benson, MN) in a A Section 6 bout, on Monday, January 16. Ortonville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 79-52 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, MN).
