The Perkiomen Valley Vikings basketball team (Collegeville, PA), was nudged 48-42 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Spring-Ford Rams (Royersford, PA)

The Rams now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owen J. Roberts for a Pioneer - Liberty battle on Saturday, January 14. Spring-Ford will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-54 league loss to Norristown (Norristown, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-8.

The Vikings (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pennridge (Perkasie, PA). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Pennridge edged Council Rock North (Newtown, PA), 43-41, in a non-league battle.
