In Thursday's non-league outing, the Phoenix Christian Cougars (Phoenix, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Phoenix Country Day Eagles (Paradise Valley, AZ), by a margin of 66-35.
The Cougars (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northland Prep Academy (Flagstaff, AZ). The Spartans go into the 2A Central outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Northland Prep Academy smashed Red Rock (Sedona, AZ), 47-32, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Johns for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Phoenix Country Day will clash with a Redskins squad coming off a 50-30 league loss to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Redskins record now stands at 7-9.
