The Racine Lutheran Crusaders (Racine, WI) basketball nipped the host Shoreland Lutheran Pacers (Somers, WI), 64-61 in Thursday's league test.

The Crusaders (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Martin Luther (Greendale, WI). The Spartans go into the Metro Classic test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Martin Luther was tipped by Grafton (Grafton, WI), 73-72, in a non-league test.

The Pacers now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a Metro Classic test on Tuesday, January 17.
