In Thursday's non-league outing, the Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM), by a count of 57-49.
The (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles go into the 2A District 2 outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Native American Community Academy was topped by Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM), 73-20, in a league outing.
The Trojans now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grady for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13. Wagon Mound will clash with a Bronchos squad coming off a 53-36 non-league loss to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Bronchos record now stands at 4-6.
