Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) and the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), saw West Park's basketball squad knock off Nevada Union by a count of 55-35.

With the victory, West Park upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Oakdale (Oakdale, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Oakdale lost 46-41 in their recent league challenge against Central Catholic (Modesto, CA)

Next up, the Miners play the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Hillmen come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 59-34 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA).
