The Woodson Cavaliers basketball team (Fairfax, VA), was nudged 56-50 in Thursday's league battle with the host Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA)
The Titans now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax for a District 4 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Alexandria City will battle a Lions team coming off a 42-40 league win over South County (Lorton, VA). The Lions record now stands at 3-9.
The Cavaliers (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines come into the District 4 battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, West Potomac edged West Springfield (Springfield, VA), 42-32, in a league battle.
