The Fergus Falls Otters basketball team (Fergus Falls, MN), was overwhelmed 81-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN)
The Cardinals now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Detroit Lakes for a AAA Section 8 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Alexandria will battle a Lakers team coming off a 44-39 non-league win over Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 8-2.
The Otters (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Perham (Perham, MN). The Yellowjackets come into the AA Section 8 battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Perham trounced Hawley (Hawley, MN), 59-54, in a league battle.
