The Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans topped the visiting Arete Prep CHARGERS basketball team by a final score of 44-27 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Miami Vandals (Miami, AZ) in a 2A Valley game, on Tuesday, January 17. Leading Edge Academy - GEC will attempt to move on its 16-6 season record.

With the defeat, Arete Prep moves to 13-7 on the year. The Chargers host Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ) to face the Spartans in a 2A Valley game on Tuesday, January 17.
