Massachusetts High School Basketball - Smith Academy ripped by Athol

In Thursday's league match, the host Athol Bears basketball team scored a decisive 42-18 triumph over the Smith Academy Falcons.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 13. Athol will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.

With the defeat, Smith Academy moves to 0-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to Turners Falls (Montague, MA) to meet the Thunder in a Franklin - South match on Tuesday, January 17. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 0-0.
