With the win, Scotland upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Highlanders host Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD) to play the in a B Region 4 bout on Saturday, January 14. The go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Freeman Academy/Marion won 58-21 in their recent non-league bout against Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD)

Next up, the Pirates play the Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Avon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 72-52 non-league win over Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD).
