The Bakersfield Lions basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles to 32 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradleyville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Bakersfield will meet a Eagles team coming off a 67-64 non-league loss to Billings (Billings, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 0-9.
The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Grove Christian Academy (Mountain Grove, MO). The EAGLES enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Mountain Grove Christian Academy triumphed over Legacy Academy (Collinsville, IL), 25-23, in a non-league contest.
