Bangor Cardinals (Bangor, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brookwood Falcons (Ontario, WI), 47-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Bangor upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Aquinas (La Crosse, WI) to play the Blugolds in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Blugolds go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Aquinas won 72-61 in their recent non-league bout against Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI)

Next up, the Falcons play the Blair-Taylor Wildcats (Blair, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Brookwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
