The Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) basketball crushed the host Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA), 65-43 in Thursday's league test.
The Warriors (8-3) will now prepare for their test against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Titans go into the WPIAL 4A 3 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, West Mifflin walloped Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA), 47-31, in a league test.
The Leopards now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host South Park for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Belle Vernon will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 51-32 league loss to Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-7.
