In Thursday's non-league outing, the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), by a margin of 72-38.

The Spartans (6-11) will now prepare for their outing against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies go into the 4A District 6 outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Hope Christian smashed Artesia (Artesia, NM), 69-48, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Moriarty for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Socorro will clash with a Pintos squad coming off a 45-39 non-league loss to Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 8-7.
