The Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Manville Mustangs (Manville, NJ), 43-23 in Thursday's league test.
The Mountaineers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery (Skillman, NJ). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Montgomery was beaten by Immaculata (Somerville, NJ), 53-26, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a Skyland - Mountain test on Tuesday, January 17. Manville will encounter a Terriers squad coming off a 42-29 non-league loss to Johnson (Clark, NJ). The Terriers record now stands at 4-7.
