In Thursday's league outing, the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Orono Riots (Orono, ME), by a margin of 62-25.

The Golden Bucks (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders go into the B North outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, John Bapst Memorial was trounced by Old Town (Old Town, ME), 55-17, in a league outing.

The Riots now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hermon for a B North outing on Saturday, January 14. Orono will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 53-14 league loss to Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 5-4.
