In Thursday's league outing, the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL), by a margin of 64-37.
The Knights (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Wildcats go into the Mid-Suburban - East outing with a 5-19 record. In their last outing, Wheeling was trounced by Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL), 61-48, in a non-league outing.
The Bison now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbrook North for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Buffalo Grove will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 49-38 league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 13-6.
