In Thursday's league outing, the University Prep Value Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host CALS Early College Falcons (Los Angeles, CA), by a count of 50-14.

The Wolves (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against East College Prep (Los Angeles, CA). The Spartans go into the Eastside outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, East College Prep was crushed by Collins Family (Huntington Park, CA), 2-0, in a league match.

With the defeat, CALS Early College moves to 1-6 on the year. The Falcons travel to North Valley Military Institute (Sun Valley, CA) to face the Hawks in a North Valley match on Friday, January 13. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 3-5. North Valley Military Institute lost 55-36 in their recent league match against Lakeview Charter (Sylmar, CA)
