Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs (Thermal, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA), 59-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Coachella Valley upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Mighty Arabs travel to Indio (Indio, CA) to play the Rajahs in a Desert Valley bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Rajahs come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Indio lost 84-23 in their recent league bout against Yucca Valley (Yucca Valley, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA) in a Desert Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Cathedral City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The RAMS come into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 51-11 league loss to Banning (Banning, CA).
