In Thursday's league bout, the visiting Maple Grove Crimson basketball squad scored a big 77-50 win over the Centennial Cougars.

With the win, Maple Grove upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Crimson travel to Blaine (Blaine, MN) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Cougars play the Andover Huskies (Andover, MN) in a AAAA Section 7 bout, on Friday, January 20. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.
