The Charter Oak Chargers basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting West Covina Bulldogs to 32 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Dimas for a Valle Vista contest on Tuesday, January 17. Charter Oak will meet a Saints team coming off a 37-32 non-league loss to Claremont (Claremont, CA). The Saints record now stands at 15-5.

The Bulldogs (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Northview (Covina, CA). The Vikings enter the Valle Vista contest with a 18-3 record. In their last contest, Northview nudged JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 78-22, in a non-league contest.
