The Colton Vikings (Colton, OR) basketball felled the host Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR), 33-18 in Thursday's league test.
The Vikings (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Regis (Stayton, OR). The Rams go into the 2A Tri-River test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Regis thwarted Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR), 66-31, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gervais for a 2A Tri-River test on Friday, January 13. Santiam will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 53-12 league win over Culver (Culver, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 10-2.
