In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles basketball team scored a tight 73-72 triumph over the Covenant Christian Eagles.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Holly Pond Broncos (Holly Pond, AL) in a 2A Area 13 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Decatur Heritage Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 16-4 season record. The Broncos enter the match with a 2-8 record after their 45-43 non-league loss to Randolph School (Huntsville, AL).
