Illinois High School Basketball - DeKalb ripped by Neuqua Valley

The Neuqua Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting DeKalb Barbs to 23 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boylan Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Neuqua Valley will meet a Titans team coming off a 65-44 league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The Titans record now stands at 16-4.
The Barbs (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Hinsdale Central was routed by Lyons (LaGrange, IL), 57-39, in a league contest.
