Dinuba Emperors (Dinuba, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Tulare Western Mustangs (Tulare, CA), 44-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dinuba upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Emperors host Lemoore (Lemoore, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 9-8. Lemoore lost 61-54 in their recent league bout against Mission Oak (Tulare, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Hanford Bullpups (Hanford, CA) in a West Yosemite bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Tulare Western will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record.
