Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Webster Tigers (Webster, WI), 45-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Drummond upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Washburn (Washburn, WI) to play the Castle Guards in a Indianhead bout on Friday, January 13. The Castle Guards come into the bout with a record of 2-6.

Next up, the Tigers play the Siren Dragons (Siren, WI) in a Lakeland - West bout, on Friday, January 13. Webster will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 53-23 league win over Northwood (Minong, WI).
