In Thursday's non-league outing, the Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ), by a count of 55-35.
The Minutemen (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against Union (Union, NJ). The Farmers go into the Union County - Valley outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Union defeated Rahway (Rahway, NJ), 39-26, in a non-league outing.
The Crusaders now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Johnson will clash with a Terriers squad coming off a 47-46 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ). The Terriers record now stands at 4-6.
