The Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders (Harrells, NC) basketball nipped the host Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), 40-34 in Thursday's league test.

The Crusaders (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Hurricanes go into the NCISAA Coastal Rivers test with a 3-10 record.

The Eagles now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Freedom Christian Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18.
