The General McLane Lancers basketball team (Edinboro, PA), was overwhelmed 54-23 in Thursday's league battle with the host McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA)

The Trojans now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Erie for a District 10 Region 6 battle on Saturday, January 14. McDowell will confront a Royals team coming off a 43-30 league loss to Fairview (Fairview, PA). The Royals record now stands at 6-5.

The Lancers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Wilmington trounced Sharon (Sharon, PA), 45-31, in a league battle.
