The Geneva Vikings basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Lake Park Lancers to 51 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montini Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Geneva will battle a Broncos team coming off a 43-15 league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 15-4.
The Lancers (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks enter the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Naperville Central ran past Metea Valley (Aurora, IL), 70-41, in a league contest.
