Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR), 49-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Piggott upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Mohawks travel to Armorel (Armorel, AR) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-12.
