Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ), 45-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hackettstown upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Tigers host West Morris Central (Chester, NJ) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Cougars play the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Kittatinny Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 41-23 non-league loss to Boonton (Boonton, NJ).
